OutRight for Windows 3.X
OutRight for Windows is magnetic tape
handling software that allows you to reliably expand the data storage and
interchange power of
your PC. OutRight software is comprised
of three components:

Application programming interface for
custom Windows programming with full DDE support.
Add the OutRight for Windows software
to your PC and you have a universal interface for data backup, archiving
and file transfer.
OutRight for Windows has incorporated
the options and features to dependably meet your requirements today and
in the future.

Lets you backup and exchange data with
other systems with similar tape devices. Developed from our industry-leading
OutRight for DOS, OutRight for Windows supports all Pertec compatible NineTrack
tape drives, with the appropriate Chi engineered Pertec controller board,
as well as most SCSI tape drives, with WINASPI compatible PC host adapters.
NineTrack densities supported are 800, 1600, 3200,
6250 bpi. Cartridge drives supported are 1/4 inch, 4mm (DAT), 8mm, DLT,
3480/3490 (IDRC), and 3490E (36 Track).
Provides complete Windows 3.1 support.
Taking full advantage of Windows 3.1, OutRight for Windows gives you a
complete set of productivity tools and is easy to install, configure and
use.
OutRight for Windows takes full advantage
of Windows 3.1 protected mode and memory management, Program Manager, TrueType
fonts, and graphical user interface. This makes OutRight for Windows simple
to learn and use.
In addition, support for Windows Dynamic
Data Exchange (DDE) lets you link OutRight with other custom applications
to exchange information.
Backup Features

Backup and restore entire disks or a subset
of files.

or by creating multiple backup SET's containing names of the files to be
backed up or restored.

the files which have been modified since the last full backup.
